Entrance Test Information for International Students

Online Written Essay Test / International Entrance Test (IET)

  • Online Written Essay Test/ International Entrance Test (IET) would be conducted on 14 January – 15 January 2017 for all the applicants according to the availbility of the Applicant and convenient time slot.
  • The test will be a time-bound test which will start with the first login and it has to be finished within 3 hours period.
  • The test paper will cover a combination of Questions (objective and descriptive questions that covers a range of Analytical/ Logical/ Reasoning/ Research/ Subject Specific questions) for students applying to the multiple programmes at TISS. (More Details will be provided in Dec 2016).
  • The weightage of the Written Test is total 100 Marks (3 hours).
  • Students will be assessed on different criterias like Conceptual clarity; Critical Analysis; Ability to communicate ideas; idea of Global Issues and overall Understanding of the subject area.
  • Written Test is a mandatory procedure and failure to complete the Written Test will result in disqualification from the further Admission Process.
  • Please do not copy from any internet sources/ book/ any other sources in the decriptive paper. The essay/ written test answer sheets would be going through a plagiarism test. TISS strictly does not tolerate plagiarism.
  • In-case of using any resources - kindly provide the reference/ mention the source.
  • In case of any technical issues relating to online examination, the test will be re-scheduled with a fresh question paper. The applicant has to immediately inform via phone or email for rescheduling the test. This will be facilitated only after the permission by IRO.
